EXOTHERMIC WELDINGS

Exothermic welding is simple, cost efficient, self contained process of forming high quality connections. This process requires no external power or heat source making it completely portable. It uses high temperature reaction of powdered copper oxide and aluminium, within a mould, to form permanent connections.

Exothermic Welding is a molecular bonding of high conductivity high copper content alloy (in excess of 93%) and high corrosion resistance.

Exothermic welding connection meets to standard as -UL 467 (grounding and bonding equipment) -IEEE STD 837 – 2002 (IEEE standard for qualifying permanent connections used in substation grounding)
