Lightning Arrestors is a 'Voltage Relief Valve' which remain
closed until voltage on the system rises to the level which
causes values to open. The valve then diverts the lightning
harmlessly to the ground, thus keeping the equipment safe
Lightning arrestors rates from 1.1/6.6/9/18/30 KV up to 120 KV
etc.
The Arrestors are available in metal oxide Gapless type/
station class type as per I.E.C. 99-4 of 1991. "Lamco"/
"Elpro" & "Oblum" makes. Copper L.A
are only put on the roof of the building to safe guard from
natural lighting.

OPERATING ROD
Operating/ Discharging rods is made of wood / fiber in three section, each section of 6 ft. long each with brass earthing chain and brass/ aluminium clamp for 11/22 KV. For 33 KV.
The rod is of four sections. Fiber glass telescopic type operating rod can be pulled in three sections.
